Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Sign up at readycheck.space/login using your email or Google account. Once signed in, you can create a new organization or join an existing one via an invite link from your team admin.

How do I join an existing organization?

Your organization admin will send you an invite link via email. Click the link, confirm your details, and you will be added to the organization automatically.

Can I use ReadyCheck with my calendar?

Calendar integration is on our roadmap. Currently, meetings are created manually within ReadyCheck. We plan to support Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook sync in a future release.

Prep Submissions

How do I submit my prep?

You will receive an email with personalized prep questions before each meeting. You can reply directly to the email or click the link to open the prep portal. Either way, submitting takes about 30 seconds.

What happens if I do not submit my prep?

You will receive reminder emails as the deadline approaches. Your submission status is visible to other meeting participants, which creates gentle accountability. After the meeting locks, you can no longer submit but can still attend.

Can I edit my submission after sending it?

Yes, you can update your submission anytime before the meeting locks. Just click the link in your prep email or navigate to the meeting in ReadyCheck.

What if I reply to the wrong email?

Each prep email includes a unique token that links your reply to the correct meeting and participant record. Make sure to reply to the most recent prep email for that meeting.

Meetings

What is the meeting lifecycle?

Meetings progress through four states: Scheduled (created, prep not yet open), Prep Open (participants can submit), Locked (no more submissions, agenda compiled), In Progress (live meeting), and Completed (meeting ended, summary generated).

How do I start a meeting?

When it is time for the meeting, navigate to the meeting detail page and click "Start Meeting." This opens the live collaboration view where participants can take notes and track action items together.

Can I reschedule a meeting?

Yes, meeting organizers can update the meeting time. All participants will be notified of the change. If prep has already been submitted, it carries forward to the new time.

How do meeting templates work?

Templates let you save meeting configurations for recurring meetings like standups, 1:1s, or sprint reviews. When you create a meeting from a template, it inherits the agenda structure and participant list.

Live Collaboration

How do collaborative notes work?

During a meeting, all participants can edit shared notes simultaneously. Changes appear in real-time for everyone. You can use @mentions to tag teammates and slash commands to create action items and decisions.

What are slash commands?

Type /action to create an action item or /decision to record a decision. These get extracted into dedicated sections that persist after the meeting ends and appear in the summary.

How do I assign an action item?

Use the format: /action @Name Task description. The action item will be assigned to that person and tracked on their personal action items list.

Transcription

How does meeting transcription work?

When all participants consent, ReadyCheck captures audio from each person's microphone and converts it to text in real-time using AI. The transcript is saved and included in the meeting summary.

Is transcription required?

No. Transcription is entirely opt-in and requires consent from every participant. If anyone declines or revokes consent, transcription is disabled for the entire meeting.

Can I search past transcripts?

Yes, ReadyCheck includes a search feature that lets you find specific discussions across all your meeting transcripts. Full-text search helps you locate exactly when something was discussed.

After the Meeting

How are summaries generated?

When a meeting ends, ReadyCheck uses AI to analyze the collaborative notes and transcript (if enabled). It generates a summary highlighting key decisions, action items, and discussion points.

When do I receive the summary?

Summaries are emailed to all participants shortly after the meeting ends. They also remain accessible in ReadyCheck for future reference.

How do I track action items?

All action items assigned during meetings appear on your personal dashboard. You can mark them complete, and they are tracked across meetings so nothing falls through the cracks.
